The Charles J. Rooks "24" Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship fund will begin with an initial deposit of $1000.00 with plans to contribute to it annually to ensure its sustainability.

One scholarship will be awarded each year in the amount of $1000.00, given each year to a graduating high school senior.

• Graduating Senior from a local high school (Licking County preferred)
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Demonstrated love for community
• Plans to attend a 2- or 4-year college, trade school or vocational program

To be considered for the scholarship, please fill out all fields in the application, attach a short essay (500 words or less) describing a personal challenge you've overcome and how it has shaped who you are today, a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, or faculty member, and your high school transcript (unofficial copy is acceptable).
